Dawnia Dresser is a lifelong vocalist/musician who released her debut Kirtan album From the Soul in 2019. She has been singing with Boulder based, Mike Cohen & the Shakti Groove since 2017 when she also became one of the lead teachers at the Kirtan Leaders Institute. During her prior 19 years in Los Angeles, Dawnia co-created three albums of original folk-rock music with her band Vertigo Road (Vertigo Road on Facebook) and also contributed to other artists and movies as a studio vocalist.
